Favorite Nashville Area Home Décor Stores – LCT Team

LCT team’s favorite Nashville area home décor stores are great options to visit when decorating your own space. It’s easy to overlook what could be right in your backyard and skip straight to the large chain stores, but shopping locally or at a bricks and mortar is always a great option.

Park – LCT Team’s Marabeth Poole shopped at Kirkland’s in Cool Springsfor her fun fall porch decor.

“I need to touch, feel and hold something before I buy it,” says Realtor Marabeth Poole. “I’m not a big fan of online shopping and likes to shop locally at Iron Gate and Kirkland’s in Cool Springs. I’ve dressed my front porch for fall with Kirkland’s.”

Realtor Holly Hockaday explained that supporting local businesses is important to everyone on the LCT team, which is why she loves shopping at P D’s, a locally owned furniture and accessories store located in Franklin.“We like to support out local shops and they always have awesome decor and furniture,” Holly says.

Artwork is also an important detail in a home. 202 Gallery, owned by artist Kelly Harwood, is a great spot to find beautiful pieces says LCT’s Lisa Cup Taylor. “Collecting artwork adds so much beauty to a home. We just closed a beautiful home in Jamison Station full of gorgeous art from Kelly’s gallery. It’s a favorite spot for me.”

Original art makes such a beautiful addition to a home and many of the pieces in a recent LCT Team – Parks listing were acquired from Gallery 202 in downtown Franklin.

Realtor Megan Jones recommends The Snooty Fox in Brentwood.“I love the Snooty Fox. They have a variety of items that aren’t run of the mill things that just can’t be picked up in a regular department store. They have something that will suit anyone’s taste,” she said.

Vickie Freas likes to step a little out of the box when it comes to searching for home décor. She shops at Sara Sells. “It’s all unique items that have been hand-picked,” Vickie explains. Sara Sells is a monthly warehouse sale in College Grove that buys products directly from manufacturers, which allows furniture, home décor, lighting, rugs, etc. to be available at up to 60% off of retail price.

Online Options

If you can’t find what you’re looking for at your local shops, then online is also perfect in helping complete your space. It’s also often easier to compare prices online than it is at a typical store. Online stores like Wayfair and Overstockare a great option because of their huge selection. Lisa Culp Taylor also recently picked up some fun Halloween wine glasses from Pottery Barn.
