I have a love/hate relationship with facebook. I love to see sweet pics of my family, friends and their fur-babies, but I heartily dislike all the political stuff that seems to take over my newsfeed. Recently, though, I had half a second of free time, so I was browsing facebook and noticed this new Thanksgiving trend of posting selfies with captions of what you’re thankful for. Now THIS is something I can get behind. Cute pics AND messages of gratitude? I thought about participating, but then I remembered that I’m actually a horrible facebooker with very little facebooking time, so I abandoned the notion. But I kept thinking about it and thinking about it and then had one of those brilliant ideas that (always – why?) strikes at 2:44 a.m or some ridiculous hour when my brain should be powered down. My brain, though, had other ideas and so the idea of my “housebook” messages of gratitude was born. Without further ado, I give you five fabulous houses, their selfies and what they (if — you know — houses could talk!) are thankful for! Oh, and of course, these houses are currently FOR SALE!
