Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue

So, if you read my blog post last week, you know that I have a soft spot in my heart for children. If you’ve known me for even a minute, you know my heart belongs to my furry friends. They are my babies and they have been lovingly rescued from some amazing organizations that I am proud to support with my time and treasure. If you are still looking for a year-end contribution, look no further than Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue. Unlike breed specific rescue organizations, dogs at Camp Snooty come in all shapes, colors and sizes. The only unifying characteristic is their need for a good, forever home.
The fine folks at Camp Snooty keep a great Facebook page updated with pictures of sweet fur-babies that will melt your heart. Here’s one of my favorites:

Dear Santa,
My name is Todgers. My foster mama says I only have a few more days to be good because it is almost time for you to come visit. She says it will be hard for me, but that I should try real hard. She says that escaping from myx-pen will not be what you consider good even though I am really good at it. She says that also goes for pooping on the floor, chewing up my bed, and wrestling with my sister at midnight.

She also says that I should only ask for candles and incense and meditation music. I don’t really know what I would do with those. I don’t think you can chew on or play with any of them without getting into trouble or going to the vet. Santa, can you tell me what other things I could be good at? I’m going to show my foster mom tonight how good I am at folding socks, maybe that will impress you!!!

Scruffy Puppy Love,
Todgers

If this photograph of Todgers doesn’t melt your heart, you get nothing but coal this year!
Kidding… kind of. The point is, these pups need our help and this organization can only do so much. In fact, Snooty Giggles not only fosters, cares for and arranges adoptions for its own doggies, it gathers and delivers food to other rescue organizations around the state. They also take many special needs dogs and senior dogs and offer hospice to many terminally ill dogs that have been abandoned by their owners.
If you’d like to help Todgers and his friends, click this link to go to Snooty’s website. There is a convenient “DONATE” button located in the bottom left corner of the home page. Want to really make your own kiddos squeal with delight? Consider adopting one of these sweet babies and make TWO Christmas wishes come true. Snooty Giggles also has a wishlist on Amazon. Click here if you’d like to help. And hey… if you need a quick pick-me up, check out Snooty’s Facebook page for some serious oohing and aahing.

Happy holidays to you and yours… including (especially!) your furry love-bugs!
